Economic revival continues to be driven by increased output

Britain's industrial output expanded for the first time in more than a year in April raising hopes that the economy is emerging from recession.

Latest Office for National Statistics (ONS) figures show a 0.3% increase in production after a run of falls that began in March 2008.
Barclays Commercial Bank has commented on the latest figures saying they are a strong indication that demand is starting to grow for fresh stock.
