Despite the current economic turmoil which is battering the British housing market, the spirits of those buying property overseas have not been dampened.

According to Saga, more than one in ten over 50s have a holiday home abroad - these investors only spend on average one month a year in their second home.
However, the founder of easyJet Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, claims that the property market is set to bottom out and now could be a great time to invest.
The weak pound has reduced many peoples budgets for foreign property, but according to Sir Stelios, the bottom of the property market is looming and when prices start rising again it is going to get more difficult for people to stretch their cash far enough to get their dream home in the sun.
Chief executive of the propertyindex.com Lee Bramzell said: "The aspiration for Brits to own property overseas is still strong, although they have less money to spend and are seeking the best possible value for money."
